Ensure your browser has permission to play audio. Check that your audio output device is properly connected and that no ad-blockers are intercepting audio streaming endpoints.
The voice sounds slightly different during real telephone calls
The voice sounds slightly different during real telephone calls
Telephone networks transmit audio over narrow-band or wide-band codecs (such as G.711 or Opus). High-fidelity audio played through your desktop browser may sound slightly warmer than standard cellular telephone lines. Test the agent with a real test call to your mobile number to evaluate actual telephony audio quality.
Can I use a custom cloned voice?
Can I use a custom cloned voice?
Yes! Vaani supports custom voice cloning. In Voice Lab, you can upload a clean 1–2 minute audio sample of a speaker to generate a private cloned voice model that only your organization can access.
What happens if a voice provider experiences an outage?
What happens if a voice provider experiences an outage?
In your agent’s Persona → Mouth settings, you can configure a Fallback TTS Provider. If your primary engine (such as Cartesia) experiences a temporary network hiccup, Vaani will automatically failover to your secondary engine so your calls continue uninterrupted.
